Shannon Leone is a Mom, writer, artist, director of The LITTLE FRIENDS FOUNDATION (a non-profit organization of volunteers who make by hand Waldorf dolls with all-natural materials and distribute them to hospitals and orphanages) Raw Gourmet Chef and filmmaker of RAISING CHILDREN RAISES US a documentary on Conscious Parenting through creative Un-Schooling and a High-Raw Lifestyle.
Shannon speaks at Wellness Centres, writes for magazines such as Dave Klein’s LIVING NUTRITION, as well and has appeared on Radio and TV.

This show was a great reminder to all of us caregivers of children to stop and be “tuned-in” to them as much as possible. I also work with young children and their families, and it is so much more rewarding to treat each session from a child-centered point of view. As Shannon reported, children ARE great teachers! ^.^
A good reminder for not to “press to much on the kids”, they will find their own way, we just have to be there and teach them, not to force them to do the “Correct thing”, all its right if it comes from love. Any way they are eating better than any other kid in school, they know it and they like it !
I really enjoyed this show. As a raw vegan parent of three boys (and a homeschool mom!) I appreciated Shannon’s point of view. It’s so nice to know that there are many of us conscientious parents in the world trying to raise compassionate, creative children who can think for themselves. Great show!
